In 2025, PNC supported substantial transaction volume, including more than 190 million healthcare claims. We facilitated nearly 20 million healthcare payments totaling approximately 48 billion dollars, and we handled more than 220 million ERA claim payments for provider clients. These volumes reflect the important role payments, connectivity and automation play in helping healthcare organizations operate efficiently and effectively. ##### **What opportunities do you see for AI to improve treasury operations and revenue cycle performance for healthcare clients?** Historically, organizations have spent significant time looking backward, reviewing reports, reconciling transactions, analyzing exceptions and trying to understand what has already occurred. AI can help organizations anticipate cash flow trends, identify revenue cycle opportunities, automate routine work and focus attention on the activities that drive the greatest financial impact. I believe the future is less about AI replacing people and more about AI augmenting decision making. For CFOs, treasurers and revenue cycle leaders, AI can help surface insights faster, highlight exceptions, and automate routine work so teams can focus on the decisions that matter most.
